A Gorgeous Edwardian Silver Letter Opener

Description

A gorgeous silver letter opener or paper knife, dating from the elegant Edwardian period. The hallmarked silver handle is exquisitely decorated with thistle motifs and flowering gerbera. The blade is a celluloid version of ivory, known as ivorine and is gently pointed to the end. A delightful and collectable piece with practical uses. Dimensions below.
