A fabulous late nineteenth / early twentieth century photograph frame, French in origin and made from Ormolu, gold over bronze.

The circular aperture is surrounded by four gilded wreathes mounted on a pink taffeta.

Dating to c.1900, it remains in excellent condition measuring 5 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 5/8" thick. The glazed aperture having a diameter measuring 2 3/8".
