Description

A Victorian or Edwardian button back sofa, circa 1900, of slight curved outline with deep buttoned back and seat, raised on channel moulded front supports and upholstered in an ivory coloured textured velvet.

The sofa is in good clean condition, the springs are good (no lumps of bumps to the seat) and the fabric is in clean and undamaged. The seat is nice and deep. The sofa would appear to have undergone restoration at some point, it is difficult to be certain but the front legs could well be replacements, they do slightly angle backwards however they are strong and have no movement in them. If the sofa were to be re-covered this could be rectified at the same time.

I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and can also obtain fabric. Please contact me to discuss this option.
