Description

A 19th Century Tole Chestnut Vase.

The vase with a spire cover, topped with a finial. The cover decorated with hanging reeds, the rim with flowing and twisting flowers, the body decorated with a band of wild flowers, from which hang rose and leaf swags. The body tapering to a rising leaf cup, above the waisted socle, spreading to a circular foot, decorated to the rim with flowing and twisting flowers, as per the cover. The vase mounted with lions mask ring handles.

Height 12 inches, width 6 inches, depth 6 inches.
