Description

Mid 19th.c. burr walnut bookcase c.1860. Glazed two door top with original red velvet lined interior of three shelves (8" depth). Over a two door cupboard base with one full and one half depth shelf inside. Beautifully figured burr walnut veneers to the front and sides, with marquetry inlays and crossbanded edges. Retaining the original gilded ormolu mouldings and mounts to both sections. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our work shops. Key supplied.
