Description

Large early 20th.c. model ship or pond yacht hull c.1920. A superb example, very nearly four feet long and clinker built with overlapping boards secured with scores of brass nails. Wooden deck with hatches fore and aft, with sturdy metal receivers for two masts which extend to the bottom of the hull, travellers and eyelets for the rigging. With a heavy lead keel for stability in the water and a fixed rudder. Presented on the original painted wooden stand, despite the obvious wear it remains a splendid item, ideal for a nautical themed interior.
