Antique Arts Crafts Oak Double Bed

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming antique Edwardian Arts and Crafts carved oak double bed dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured oak, with attractive carving the central splats of the headboard and footboard. Featuring vertical slats flanked by square pilasters topped with flat cap finials. the footboard and headboards with a carved central panel. It has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails and complete with a pine slatted bed base which make a very solid bed (no mattress or bedding included).
