Description

A very striking Welsh oak cricket table, the unusually thick and beautifully grained top raised on canted legs with iron stretchers. The rich colour and patina of this table is outstanding. The condition is very good, the table stands evenly with no wobbles. The legs bear the traces of historic paint and there is evidence of some historic woodworm, long since dead, but treated again for peace of mind. A really beautiful piece that would look equally good in a traditional or contemporary setting.
