Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe C1890

A Superb Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe in the Georgian Style and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dental moulding and a deep frieze with fine chequered stringing. There are two full length panelled doors with each door having two moulded panels with geometric chequered stringing and wide crossbanded edges. The doors are separated by a brass divider and has ornate brass escutcheons and working key. Internally it is all hanging with brass rail and to the base there are two deep drawers with chequered stringing and crossbanded edges and original brass handles. The whole being raised on bracket feet.

A superb quality wardrobe that s parades for ease of transporting.
