Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The hip flask with a rounded hinged lid, closing on a rotating bayonet and collar fixing. The body half leather covered, and with a spirit window. The lower body covered with a slide off mug, silver gilted. The flask slightly curved to fit snugly into a pocket.
Hallmarked for Charles Cooke, Chester,1922.
