Description

A handsome pair of British issued First World War leather and polished brass binoculars together with the original leather case.

Made by the well renowned maker Ross of London, both eye pieces are signed and the interior of the lid is also signed by Ross.

The brass has been meticulously professionally polished and with various marks including S-3 and the military crows foot. They are fitted with shades to minimise glare in bright sunshine.

The leather case is in fair condition with wear commensurate with age.

Excellent condition, the binoculars measuring 5" x 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" expanding to 7 3/4" while sunshades are in operation. The case measuring 5 3/4" x 3 1/8" x 6".
