Large Antique Victorian Stripped Pine Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A good quality Victorian stripped pine chest of drawers. They are a good large size with two short over three long drawers and their original turned knobs. They are set on turned bun feet and have been stripped, leaving an attractive pale colour which has been gently cleaned and polished to give it a smooth waxed finish while retaining its charater and aged patina.

They are in good condition for their age. The drawers open well, having had their runners replaced or repaired and are generally clean and tidy inside. There is an old split on one side, a small repair to a chip on one corner and the usual signs of age and use and a few marks but nothing untoward. They are a good sturdy set that display well.
