Description

-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A very handsome Regency bow-front or D shaped mahogany chest of drawers.
c1820.
Having two short cock-beaded drawers, over four long cock-beaded graduating drawers, with oak lining and of fine dove-tail construction.
Flanking the drawers are very decorative turned half columns.
The mahogany has a lovely rich colour and beautiful flame figuring.
Wonderful large lion-head handles.
Standing on turned feet.
In excellent antique condition, general expected, minor signs of age and use. Replacement handles, which are age and stylistically correct.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
