Description

This antique burr walnut desk, side table or dressing table is of very high quality & is a very functional piece of furniture. It’s in excellent condition, with a great colour & dates to around the 1890-1910 period. The top & front has fabulous burr walnut veneers which give off wonderful patterns. The top & the drawers are also cross banded with herringbone inlays in between. The drawers have fine dovetails & original brass handles. The most useful feature of this item is the pull out slide which has a very stylish shaped tooled leather insert. The most obvious use would be for a key pad or laptop. This table has lovely shaping all around the bottom & sits on solid walnut shaped legs.
