Large Six Slice Antique Silver Toast Rack 1904

This Large ANTIQUE SILVER TOAST RACK has six compartments divided by an arched style frame supporting a central handle. The Silver Toast Rack, made by the well-known silversmiths of William Hutton & Sons Ltd. and assayed in London in 1904, has an oblong shaped body / base and the toast rack has seven delightfully shaped dividers resulting in six toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely Silver Toast Rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks.

This is made from good heavy gauge silver, is of fine quality and is in exceptional condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.

There is no damage and no repairs.

Slight bend to one of the dividers – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.
