Large Antique Silver Capstan Inkwell 1914

1900 - 1920
Description

This large ANTIQUE SILVER CAPSTAN INKWELL was made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Walker & Hall in 1914.

Of usual capstan style, this lovely Silver Inkwell has concentric ring decoration to base and lid and is complete with original glass insert and leather base covering.

Free from and added initials, monograms or engravings, this fabulous Capstan Inkwell is in excellent condition and would look superb on any desk or would add to any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Lid does not close completely – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions:

Diameter – 6.0” (150mm) / Height – 2.5” (63mm)

Weight – 398gm / 12.8ozt (Note: Weighted Base)
