Pair of Georgian Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks, Circa 1820

Description

This is a striking pair of Georgian Old Sheffield plate candlesticks. They have shell and scroll decoration to a square shaped base. The stem with a circular knop and a fluted rectangular knop.

Original detachable sconces.

Loaded bases.

Letter "C" engraved to the base.

Condition:

Very good

No dents.

No pin holes.

Copper showing through at places.

Dimensions:

Height: 23cm / 9 inches.

Base Diameter: 11.5cm / 4.3 inches.
