A fabulous William Comyns pierced silver gilt bonbon spoon. This outstanding example has a fully gilded and pierced bowl, featuring flowers, leaves and fretwork, with a central figure of a bird. The handle features foliage, shells and has a central mask. As one would expect from this superior maker, the spoon is fully cast and of excellent quality. An eye catching and practical piece.
