Description

Dating to around 1890, late Victorian in era this polished brass pair of opera glasses is clad in ever-popular Mother or Pearl, iridescent and highly decorative.

The shell eyepieces are signed one L Ulrich / Nice & Vichy and the other L Ulrich / Opticien.

The optics are in excellent condition and the brass professionally polished to gleam. The left hand eyepiece has a tiny hairline across the " & " .. see photo .. insignificant but mentioned for accuracy.

This pair comes complete with a velvet drawstring (new) bag for their protection.

Measuring 4" wide x 2 1/2" tall expanding to 2 7/8".
