Description

An 18th century Delft Vase, the rounded top, decorated with flower heads, between panels of scrolling flowers, tapering into a long neck, decorated with hanging leaves. The neck spreading into an orb body, painted with scenes of courtiers conversing in oriental gardens, whilst two young men lead a lion across the landscape.

The body tapered into an outward swept foot, decorated with hanging scrolls and leaves.
