Description

Very handsome mid 19th.c. Louis Philippe French marble top mahogany chest of drawers c.1840. Original inch thick black marble top with rounded edges over six good sized drawers. Beautifully figured and matching flame mahogany veneers to the drawer fronts, laid in a symmetrical pattern on solid oak groundwork. Large decorative Empire style brass handles. Mahogany veneered sides and thumb moulded plinth. Superb quality with solid oak drawer linings, carcass, and back boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
