Description

Gents 9ct gold Accurist Shockmaster wrist watch, 1965.

The watch has a good quality signed 21-jewel ETA hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1965 together with the Accurist mark. The case is in good condition.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (an early form of quickset where the hands are moved backwards and forwards between midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in its original Accurist presentation box... it is rather tatty inside the lid but still good to have.
