Set Of 6 Silver Victorian Dessert Forks London 1841

A superb set of 6 solid silver Dessert Forks. Early Victorian, the forks are identically hallmarked to the back of the terminal for the London Assay Office , along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and date mark for 1841. Marker''s marks are also clear and crisp for George Adams.
 
Each fork is engraved at the top of the back of each handle with an unusual design dipicting a Sun and a Craftsman (see images).
 
The forks are each a good heavy gauge silver and are in the lovely Old English pattern.
 
An exceptionally fine set and also very practical.
 
Condition: In great antique condition.
 
Hallmarks and maker''s marks: London 1841 by George Adams

Each fork length: 17 cm approx. Each fork weight: 42 grams approx.
