Georgian Silver Wine Coasters.

Description

Super pair of Geo.III silver wine bottle/decanter coasters; of circular shape with scalloped bead pattern borders, and very crisp brightcut decoration to the sides. The bases are wood in the usual style, and the brightcutting is just right for the period. It is worth noting that the hallmarks are very clear and legible (not always the case with 230 year old coasters!) Fine examples and very decorative.
