Walnut Stationery Box C.1880.

Description

Super quality late 19th.c. burr walnut desk top stationery box c.1880. Two door box opening to reveal a fitted walnut interior with pigeon holes for correspondence (labelled for answered, unanswered and sundries), a removable stationery rack and small drawer with inkstand. Highly figured burr walnut veneers across the piece with original monogrammed mounts to the door fronts. Original labels, long hinges and recessed carry handles. Original Brahma lock, unfortunately we do not have the key. Very good condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
