Description

A fine quality Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid display cabinet by Shapland & Petter Of Barnstaple. The upper section having a central oval bevelled mirror with chequer band inlaid detail and with fine floral marquetry inlay and two shaped shelves. The lower section with a solid mahogany top with a triple reeded moulded edge above central twin bow front glazed doors, which opens to reveal a silk lined shelved interior, flanked by twin panelled end doors, each with fine quality marquetry inlay of ribbon, swag and harebell design and a classic Robert Adam design urn. The whole standing on square tapering supports with moulded feet. Stamped S,P & B to the brass locks. English circa 1900-1910

Condition: This cabinet is in beautiful condition, newly re-lined interior
