This is an antique pine trunk, an English, Victorian blanket chest or box dating to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900.

Warm hues in the waxed finish to the antique pine

Attractive 'through' dovetail joints

Lock with brass keyhole escutcheon, key absent

Lid lifts on strap hinges to reveal voluminous storage within

Raised on an attractive shaped plinth

Iron drop handles to either end
