Description

For your consideration is this fabulous 1930's Art Deco center desk. This desk is designed so that you can have it room center as it's veneered on the back rather than the normal run of the mill desks. Really attractive design with four drawers to the left side with generously sized interior, a large central drawer and then an open bookshelf area to the right with a single shelf cupboard below * we do have the shelf although not shown in pic*. The contrasting veneers of straight grain walnut against the heavily figured add further interest and individualistic styling. An ideal size for modern day use, with plenty of space for desk top computer, telephone and other pieces without cramping the top area. A nice mid tone overall which will integrate easily with both period and modern interiors. We've had this desk fully restored and also comes with working key and lock for the central drawer, all drawers open and close smoothly.
