Description

Staffordshire pottery pearlware bust, by Enoch Wood, c. 1830. Well modelled as the Reverend John Wesley, set upon a marbellised squared socle base. Decorated in underglaze and overglaze enamels.

Height - 29.5 cm, 11 5/8”.

Width - 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.

Depth - 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.

Condition - Typical wear to the overglaze black enamel - commensurate with its age. Otherwise perfect. No restoration.
