A Delightful Chester Silver Buttonhole Holder

Description

A delightful piece of practical George V silver, from the sought after Chester Office. This is a hallmarked silver buttonhole holder for a lapel. The body is of flattened cylindrical shape. with an angled lip and v shaped hook to the back for attaching. These unusual silver items were given as gifts for weddings or other occasions when a buttonhole is required. A lovely, usable collector's piece. Dimensions below.
