A Lovely Venetian Latticino Footed Bowl

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely example of a Venetian footed bowl in tradition latticino deign. This style of glassware originates on the Venetian Island of Murano and is famed for it's detailed spiroscopic design. This gorgeous piece is of hexagonal form with a raised plinth foot. There are alternate panels of white and gold with baby blue, made from multi coloured rods and demonstrating the glassblowers art. A delightful, practical and decorative piece. Dimensions below.
