Oval Edwardian Sterling Silver Trinket Box 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

This superb SOLID SILVER TRINKET BOX is of oval plain form with dotted edges to base and lid and was probably originally intended as a Table Snuff Box.

Made by Munsey & Co.Ltd. in 1910, this lovely Edwardian Antique has a beautifully gilded interior which adds to the beauty of this terrific piece.

There are no added engravings, monograms or initials and the lovely box is in excellent condition despite being over 115 years old.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and there are no repairs.

The lid does not fully close - no gap but does not fully seat onto lip of box. Nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Fully Hallmarked English Sterling Silver.

Length - 4.75" / width - 1.75" / Height - 1.0"

Length - 120mm / width - 44mm / Height - 25mm

Weight - 83gm
