Early Victorian Mahogany Concave Box Stool with Lift Up Lid

Description

A William IV or Early Victorian Box Stool / Ottoman, circa 1840, with Victorian needlework upholstered seat over concave sides and a gadroon carved mahogany bottom edge raised on bun feet with brass castors.

A lovely little ottoman in original condition and in need of re-covering. The needlework top is serviceable although a somewhat grubby. Re-covering can be arranged and I can also supply suitable fabric - please contact me for details.
