The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is 800 Continental silver with niello work. The case back has some fairly gentle unevenness but overall is in good condition. There is a vacant cartouche to the back with a rose gold wash.

Niello is a black mixture, usually of sulphur, copper, silver, and lead, used as an inlay on engraved or etched metal, especially silver. It is added as a powder or paste, then fired until it melts or at least softens, and flows or is pushed into the engraved lines in the metal.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
