Description

This antique burr walnut cocktail cabinet is Queen Anne style & dates from around the 1930’s period. It’s a wonderful colour, in excellent condition & has just been French polished. All the doors have beautiful burr walnut designs & the top doors have etched brass hinges & escutcheons. This cabinet is carved top, bottom & on the legs. The inside of the top section is sycamore lined & fitted out with mirrors, glass shelves, glass holders & even a light which will have to be rewired for safety reasons. It also has a pull out slide in the middle for pouring out the drinks. I believe the bottom section was designed to store bottles & there a small drawer there too. This purpose built drinks cabinet would cost a small fortune to make today & in fact this quality could never be repeated.
