The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 12.68Z, which is working nicely.

The watch is a very good size at 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 18ct rose gold and there are Continental hallmarks inside the case back, including the the Minerva 18ct mark. The inner case back is also signed with the Longines name and logo. There are various marks scratched inside the case back.

The case has a few little fairly mild "dings"and some unevenness to the case back but, on the plus side, its good size and shaped lugs make it a very nice piece. There is an old repair to one of the lugs and it is nice and solid.

The winding crown is a later replacement.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
