Youngs Antiques has dated this piece to the 17th Century.
The base consists of four finely turned baluster legs joined by peripheral stretchers and standing upon turned feet.

Below the table top, the table is decorated with a front and back rail consisting of rows of carved knulling and below that a carved apron running all the way round.
The frieze would have originally had a draw in one side , however this has been lost in time.

The table has had some wood worm damage and some old repairs all commiserate with age. The overall condition of the table is excellent.
