Description

A good example of a Cornish stripped pine dresser dating from the late 19th century. The base has two drawers above two cupboard doors which open to a shelved interior, flanked by barley twist columns. The top part of the dresser has two glazed cupboard doors with gothic style arched mouldings, opening to a shelved interiors with grooves for standing plates if needed.

It is in excellent condition throughout and is a clean sturdy piece of furniture. It has been thoroughly cleaned and has a nice smooth waxed finish. It is not without some signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no major damages and the drawers open well. It has been well maintained and is ready for use.
