An Early 19th Century Mahogany Lancashire Mule Chest

Description

An Early 19th Century mahogany Lancashire mule chest. With a shaped raised galleried back above a one piece Cuban mahogany hinged top, which opens to reveal a storage space with a candle box and drawers. The Front having an arrangement of nine mahogany rectangular drawers, six of them are real drawers with oak linings and brass swan neck handles. The top three being "dummy drawers" with reeded cluster columns corners. With solid mahogany sides and supported on shaped ogee bracket feet. England circa 1800-1820

Dimensions: 77" wide x 22" deep x 46" high

Condition: This mule chest is in wonderful original condition, a great colour and patination
