Set of 8 Chippendale Style Dining Chairs

Description

A good set of EIGHT Chippendale style late 19th century solid mahogany DINING CHAIRS in excellent original condition.

Each chair features a well carved and pierced back, with 'drop-in' seats supported on carved cabriole front legs which terminate in claw-and-ball feet, whilst the carver chairs have shaped and carved solid mahogany arms. The seats are covered in attractive 'gross point' and 'petite point' tapestries which are all in very good condition indeed. Priced for the set of EIGHT.
