Description

A Georgian period stick barometer. An architectural pediment with the original brass finial. A mahogany case with matched veneers and satinwood chequered banded case edging. The original circular bulb cistern cover. A very well engraved silvered dial with slide indicator and the original bulb thermometer. Circa 1815.

The dial is signed 'G COMOLI NEWCASTLE' and could be Newcastle-Under Lyme or Newcastle Upon Tyne.
