They later became the sole supplier of locks to the General Post Office and a supplier to Her Majesty’s Prison Service.

In 1827, Chubb opened its first London premises at 57 St Paul’s Churchyard. They remained at this location until 1877 before moving to 128 Queen Victoria Street, London. A showroom (on this example) was opened at 68 St James's Street in 1874.
Excellent condition dating to c.1880, Victorian in era and complete with working key. 3 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 1".
