Description

Mid-size 9ct gold Rone Fifteen wrist watch, 1947.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, signed Rone, which is working nicely. There are two empty holes in the movement, these are intended to be empty as they are not required in this particular case.

The watch measures 29mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the handsomely shaped lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1947 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers.

The front of the case is in good condition while the back has a few surface scratches.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
