Description

An excellent quality Regency rosewood CANTERBURY (or magazine rack) in fine original condition.

Originally from a design by Loudon, the three "X" framed divisions feature carved laurels to the centre, whilst to the frieze is a useful mahogany-lined drawer. It is supported on four turned solid rosewood legs headed by acorn finials and terminating in original cast brass castors. A fine example. 20ins wide; 21ins high; 15ins deep. (51 x 53 x 38cms)
