A pretty and fine quality ROYAL WORCESTER porcelain figure, modelled by James Hadley which depicts a young girl, carrying a basket as she happily walks through the woods. She wears a flowered 'pinafore' dress and matching bonnet tied with a polkadot scarf, and is modelled with with all the charm and sensitivity that made Hadley so famous. 9ins (23cms) high. Date coded for 1891.
