Silver Cream Jug & Sugar Castor

Description

A Silver Cream Jug and Sugar Castor.

The silver cream jug of classical form, the reeded rim rising to the tapered spout. The vase shaped body with a reeded banding, the jug on a waisted socle, and thence a circular spreading foot, with ringed stepping. The sugar castor with a finial top, above the lift off top, with pierced panels of alternating leaves between reeded divisions. The baluster shaped body with ring banding, above a waisted socle and thence a circular spreading foot with ringed stepping.

Both hallmarked for Barker Brothers, Birmingham 1913.

Complete with original Moroccan leather covered case.

Height 6 3/4 inches, width 4 inches, depth 2 1/2 inches.
