Serpentine Kingwood and Amboyna Secretaire Bookcase

Description

A superb quality French Kingwood and Amboyna secretaire bookcase. Of fine construction with stunning Kingwood and Amboyna veneers onto a solid mahogany carcas. Of serpentine form and embellished with crisply cast brass ormolu mounts. The domed top is fitted with a gallery and a central plaque. The pair of glazed doors open to access a shelved interior with adjustable shelves. The secretaire opens to reveal a fitted interior. The bottom pair of cupboard doors open to reveal an interior with adjustable shelving. All interiors are finished with birds eye maple veneers and all drawer and doors are lockable (keys supplied). This splendid bookcase is offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
