Large Antique English Threaded Glass and Sterling Silver Match Strike - 1887

Description

A good impressive size, larger than most, this Victorian match striker is made from threaded glass with it's textured surface where the (non-safety) matches would have been struck.

These are always a popular addition to any interior (they look great in groups) whether traditional or modern.

The top is English sterling silver hallmarked (slightly rubbed) for Birmingham 1887.

Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" in diameter x 3 1/2" tall. (Matches cannot be shipped).
