A superb walnut bureau bookcase in George II style. The base is Victorian ,circa 1880, the associated upper section is a little later. The bureau interior has a nicely fitted interior of shaped drawers and pigeon holes; the upper mirrored section has interior shaped shelving and a central small cupboard. Also note the candlestick slides which are a lovely antique feature. The piece has a sunburst decoration on the bottom drawer and also starred inlay near the pediment. Altogether a very attractive piece of furniture that will impress in every environment.
