It's hard to believe this stylish and very elegant photograph frame was made in 1898, Victorian in era, it would look just at home today in a modern interior as it would in a traditional setting.

Lovely quality made by the top-notch silversmith, William Comyns, the silver wrapping around the sides of the Oak backing and angled toward the glazed aperture.

The Oak backing incorporates a folding easel back stand, with the popular two-way option allowing it to be used in both a landscape and portrait configuration.

Fully hallmarked for London 1898, late Victorian in era. 7" x 5 1/2" x 1" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 3/8" x 3 5/8".
